For electic guitar, I also have many friends that use these same strings, for if you play a lot of gigs and you're rough on the strings and replace them often, if you're not as rough on the strings, try the same super slinky coated strings for something that will last a bit longer with regular but not crazy hard use

They sound great and they are a good product for the money.I recently bought a new guitar online and switched the strings out a couple of days after I got it and, as is the case with just about all new strings, but you can sure tell the difference in the tone right away ... much brighter and `` meatier''

In my opinion strings are the hardest thing to rate to an extent because everyone prefers different tensions and/or sounds but I will say that as long as you clean them once in a while they will last pretty long without major tone loss

For guitars that don't get used much, these are great strings for beginners to professionals, i've tried the cryogenic strings to nickel plated and for my style of playing the others cost more and get changed just as often

All of those mentioned are great strings when new and it is just personal preference, chunk on the low end, less tension on the high end, the bottom three strings are the ones that suffer most from a very light gauge

Great for low tuning, I feel its way too heavy, I like the strings a little loose, or maybe certain guitars would work better with these than others, some players might want normal tension at lower tuning

Very inexpensive and the quality is not like Fender or Gibson, and they do a good job at tuning and staying in tune for the price they cost they were just what I needed to fix an old guitar

I looked at alot of guitar sites but I had a hard time finding tuners that were an exact fit for the originals, I didn't want to drill out new holes for the mounting screws

I have to say these strings are amazing, all I can say is WOW !!!!! My guitar sounds so much better, the tone is so much richer and crisper than the stock strings

Heavy bottom strings are simply the best, I always buy these Ernie Balls because they are often the only brand in the store in that configuration
